Smart Level’s advanced mapping was supposed to be the highlight and was not mentioned one single time.
From our initial talks until the 2024 Techo showcase went into production, what Alex and I had discussed featuring was the advanced mapping features of Smart Level. We discussed the fact that Smart Level was uploaded into every design program recommended by Techo as early as June 13th, 2022, during the 23rd Techo Showcase in preparation for 2024. As you can see, Alex agreed. He asked for a topographical map of the site in Nashville, which I supplied.
There was never a mention of not featuring the mapping or featuring anything other than mapping.
When it was obvious the showcase was failing to produce results, I presented Alex with an Instagram post of the app in the excavator that had gone viral. (https://www.instagram.com/reel/C551yp2ulFH/?igsh=a2FpdW9hMzRqY3Z5) Instead of helping and mentioning this, it was simply completely ignored. At KOP I asked Alex if I could present a Smart Level demo I was told no. It was at this point that I completely gave up on salvaging any success from the 2024 Tech-Bloc showcase.
The first email below, sent October 9, was after Techo had threatened me with a lawsuit. As had become typical with Techo. There was no response to this email, just a summons served on me to appear in court.
I have a great deal of respect for Pete and all of the reps working the field. However, I will never trust Techo corporate again, ever!
